Vintage Visual REEL 110 Film Developing Reel

110 pocket film developing reel / fits all Paterson Super System 4 tanks / one cartridge per reel

A developing reel made specifically for 110 pocket film, moulded in chemical-resistant PETG. Formats such as 127 and 220 load onto a standard Paterson reel, but 110 does not — it needs this one. The REEL 110 fits all Paterson Super System 4 tanks, so you can develop 110 at home in the tank you already own.

Overview

The package contains one REEL 110 only; the Paterson tank, the film and the AGO Film Processor are separate purchases. One reel takes one 110 cartridge, so to run several rolls in a single tank, allow one reel per roll. The smooth spiral guides the film into place with a simple back-and-forth motion, and the reel works with both hand inversion and the rotary agitation of the AGO Film Processor. Vintage Visual gives a minimum of 175 ml of chemistry per reel; when you develop with AGO, check the minimum volume chart for your tank size as well. Note that 110 film has to be taken out of its plastic cartridge in complete darkness before loading, so a changing bag or a darkroom is required.

Common questions

Questions about this product

Are enlarger lens boards and negative carriers interchangeable?

No — they are specific to the enlarger maker and model. Check the compatibility notes in each product's specifications, or contact us with your enlarger model before ordering.

How do I choose a darkroom timer?

For enlarging, second-precision exposure control matters most. For film and print processing, a timer that can step through multiple stages is the practical choice.
