Terms of use
Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Use apply to all customers using the services of Neo Analog Lab (the "Site"). By purchasing products or using services on this Site, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Order acceptance
A purchase contract is formed when checkout is completed and payment is successfully processed. The automated confirmation email sent after placing an order is an acknowledgment of receipt and does not constitute contract formation. If there is an obvious pricing error or inventory discrepancy, we may contact you for confirmation before shipment.
Pricing and payment
Prices are displayed in Japanese Yen (JPY) and include consumption tax. Shipping and handling charges are added at checkout, with the final total clearly displayed. We currently accept credit card payments only, processed through Stripe. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for payment data security details.
Product information and inventory
We strive to represent products as accurately as possible through photos and descriptions. Minor variations between production batches are inherent to film and photographic paper. Inventory levels are synchronized in near real-time, but brief discrepancies may occur during concurrent checkouts or payment-failure stock releases.
Shipping and delivery
See our Shipping & Returns page for detailed domestic delivery terms. We are not responsible for non-delivery or delays caused by incorrect address entry. Please verify your shipping address at checkout. For damage or loss during transit, we will coordinate with the carrier as appropriate.
Cancellation and returns
Order cancellations for customer reasons are accepted only before shipment and within 24 hours of placing the order. For post-shipment returns, see the conditions on our Shipping & Returns page. Film, paper, and chemistry products cannot be returned once opened.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, copyright and intellectual property rights in the Site's design, logo, text, photographs, and code belong to the Site operator. Unauthorized reproduction, copying, or modification is prohibited. Product photos may include copyrighted material belonging to respective manufacturers.
Prohibited activities
The following are prohibited: (1) violating any law or these terms, (2) interfering with Site operations (unauthorized access, excessive requests, etc.), (3) infringing the rights of other customers or third parties, (4) placing orders with false or misleading information, (5) bulk purchasing for resale. Confirmed violations may result in order cancellation and restriction of future access.
Limitation of liability
The Site is not liable for damages arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, communication outages, and server failures. Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Site is not liable for damages resulting from decisions or actions taken based on information on this Site. Results from film and chemistry use (speed deviation, color rendition, development defects, etc.) may vary due to inherent product characteristics and are not individually guaranteed.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Japanese law. Any disputes arising from use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court with jurisdiction over the operator's location as the court of first instance.
Changes to terms
We may revise these terms as needed. Material changes will be announced on the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
