Not sure which process to choose?

Check the film box or cassette first — most films print the process name (e.g. “Process C-41”). Still unsure? Enter the film stock name and we will double-check before developing.

  • C41Standard process for color negative film — Kodak Gold / Portra / UltraMax, Fujifilm 200, etc. Most color film is C41.
  • E6Reversal (slide / positive) film only — Ektachrome, Provia, Velvia. Color negative film should use C41 instead.
  • ECN-2Motion picture color negative film — KODAK VISION3 250D / 500T, etc. Cine film has a remjet layer and cannot be developed in C41.
  • B&WBlack-and-white negative film — HP5 Plus, Tri-X, ACROS, etc.
  • B&W ReversalDevelops black-and-white film into positive slides. Choose only if you specifically want positives.
  • Scan onlyAlready-developed film, scanning only — use the “Scan only” toggle at the top of each roll.

Before you order RAW scans

Unlike JPG, RAW (DNG) is not a ready-to-view photo — it is the untouched orange negative data with no mask removal, inversion, or grading applied.

After delivery you will need to remove the orange mask and grade the files yourself with conversion software. Our free converter is available:negative-converter.tokugai.com

If you want finished, ready-to-use files, choose JPG or RAW+JPG instead.
