Neo Analog Lab is run by exactly one person. No storefront rent. No staff payroll. Self-hosted servers and direct sourcing channels. Every layer of markup that doesn't need to exist has been stripped out — and the savings go straight into the prices you see.
Self-hosted & lightweight infrastructure
This site runs on Cloudflare Workers and D1 at the edge. Not even a VPS rental. Traffic spikes don't inflate infrastructure costs, so the fixed-cost ratio against revenue stays exceptionally low and never bleeds into pricing.
Unique sourcing channels
Film and paper procurement goes beyond distributor list prices. Direct overseas purchasing, buying out closing-lab inventory, and industry channels all feed into a multi-route supply chain that keeps per-roll cost as low as possible.
The reality of the film market
Users are hypersensitive to cost, supply stability, and lab quality. As prices keep climbing, buying behaviour is shifting from 'grab whatever is in stock' toward 'buy only what you need, with zero waste.'
