Paterson Measuring Graduate 45ml

Small measuring cylinder / 45ml / metric, Imperial and US scales

A 45ml graduated cylinder for measuring small amounts of concentrated chemistry. It is the smallest of Paterson's five graduate sizes, and the one to reach for when a dilution calls for a few millilitres of stock solution rather than a whole tank's worth of working solution.

Overview

Paterson graduates are moulded from transparent polystyrene under strictly controlled conditions, in a cylindrical laboratory design that spaces the markings uniformly and widely so they stay easy to read. Each one is calibrated in metric, Imperial and US scales and is resistant to most photographic chemicals. At 45ml this is a concentrate measure: draw the stock solution here, measure the dilution water in a larger graduate, then combine the two. Rinse it with water and let it dry after each use so nothing carries over between chemicals.

Archival supplies and small bench essentials.

Common questions

Questions about this product

How do I choose negative sleeves?

For 135 film the standard page holds 7 strips of 6 frames; for 120, pages hold 3-4 strips. For long-term storage choose acid-free material that passes the Photographic Activity Test (PAT).

What size trays do I need?

Use trays one size larger than your paper, and plan on 3-4: developer, stop bath, fixer, and a holding/wash tray.
