Choose your destination in the cart to see its postage. United States orders ship with import duties prepaid. We currently do not ship to US territories such as Guam, parts of the Middle East, or Russia. ## Fulfillment time Orders are typically dispatched within 2–5 business days after payment is confirmed. For orders placed on weekends, national holidays, or during the year-end closure, the count starts on the following business day. If a delay occurs due to stock availability, weather, or logistics issues, we will notify you at your registered email address. ## Roll film parcels Orders containing only roll film ship free from 3 rolls of 35mm, with 3-packs and 5-packs counted by their roll quantity. 120 roll film ships free from 5 rolls. Orders below the complimentary threshold ship at a 500 JPY flat rate via tracked small parcel, typically arriving in 2–5 days. ## Standard shipping Orders containing sheet film, paper, equipment, or accessories — including mixed orders with roll film — ship at a flat 900 JPY via standard tracked courier. Typically arrives in 1–3 days after dispatch. ## Free shipping threshold (Japan) Any order with a product subtotal of 15,000 JPY or more ships free nationwide, regardless of contents. Some oversized equipment items may incur an additional weight-based surcharge, which will be clearly shown at checkout. ## Overseas postage Overseas postage is exactly what Japan Post charges; we add no handling fee. It depends on the destination and the packed weight. The domestic free-shipping rules do not apply abroad. Choose the service on the payment page. These are not included in the product price or postage and are paid by the recipient on delivery. Amounts depend on local rules. The United States is the exception: we collect the estimated duty and clearance fee with the postage and prepay them through Zonos, Japan Post's certified partner, so there is nothing to pay on delivery; we cover any difference from the estimate. ## Items we cannot send abroad Photo chemistry such as developers and fixers counts as dangerous goods for air transport and cannot be shipped overseas. Vintage Visual (AGO) products are sold for the Japanese market only. A few items without a registered shipping weight are also unavailable abroad until it is added. The cart lists any such items when you choose an overseas destination. ## Before you order from abroad - Please enter your address in English (Latin letters). - International Air Packet is delivered to the mailbox with no compensation for loss or damage. Choose EMS or International Parcel if you need cover. - International mail may be X-rayed in transit, and we cannot prevent it. - Delivery times are estimates; customs clearance can add delays. ## Tracking A tracking number is sent to your registered email once the order has shipped. If your order has not arrived after 5 business days, please check the tracking status first, then contact the carrier directly or reach out via our contact form. ## Stock reservation Inventory is reserved for a limited window (typically 30 minutes) once checkout begins. If payment is not completed within this window, the reservation is released automatically and the stock becomes available to other customers. This prevents double-selling of the same unit. ## Returns and exchanges We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of delivery, whether or not the item is defective. If an item arrives damaged, is clearly the wrong product, or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us via reply to your order confirmation email or through the contact form. After reviewing the situation, we will arrange a replacement or refund, and we pay the return shipping. Returns and exchanges for customer reasons (wrong choice, change of mind) are accepted only if the item is unopened and within 30 days of delivery; return shipping is at the customer's expense. ## Undeliverable and refused packages If a package is returned due to an incorrect address or prolonged absence, a re-delivery fee will apply for reshipment. Repeated refusal of delivery may result in refusal of future orders. ## Weather and force majeure delays Delivery may be delayed due to severe weather, natural disasters, or other force majeure events. We will post a notice on the site or contact you by email as soon as possible in such cases. ## Frequently asked questions ### Do you ship internationally? Yes. We ship to more than 160 countries and regions by Japan Post international mail (International Air Packet, International Parcel or EMS). We currently do not ship to parts of the Middle East. ### Is film safe in a small tracked parcel? Yes. All film ships in light-tight, cushioned packaging designed so that normal parcel handling does not affect the emulsion. ### Do free-shipping orders still get a tracking number? Yes. Free-shipping orders ship via tracked small parcel or standard tracked courier, and the tracking number is included in the dispatch email. ### Does free shipping apply to film processing mail-in kits? No. The free-shipping conditions above apply to product purchases only. Film processing mail-in kits have their own shipping terms — see the processing page for details. ### Can I order film developing from outside Japan? Yes. Choose your country on the processing order form and it shows what returning your negatives by Japan Post (International Air Packet, EMS and so on) costs: Japan Post's international postage plus packing and handling. Postage to us is yours. We cannot return negatives to the United States yet; US customers can order with digital delivery only. ### How do sheet film and paper ship?
