## Description

An RGB LED light for the second exposure step in black-and-white reversal (Scala) processing of Super 8 film. It is made to work with the Vintage Visual REEL – Super 8, whose translucent body lets the light reach the film wound inside.

Colour temperature is adjustable from 2500K to 8500K. Vintage Visual recommends 2500K at 50% intensity, exposing from both inside and outside the reel and rotating it so the film is lit evenly. Power comes from a 2000mAh internal battery charged over USB-C. You only need this light for black-and-white reversal work — standard B&W negative, C-41 and ECN-2 development have no re-exposure step. It is sized for the REEL – Super 8, which is sold separately; Vintage Visual notes that a small light stick placed inside the translucent reel body will also carry out this step. The light measures 51 × 6 × 4.5 cm and weighs 326 g. 24-month warranty from purchase.
