# For AI agents

Assistants can read Neo Analog Lab's products, stock, shipping, policies and technical references directly. Payment is always made by the customer on Stripe's page.

## MCP server

`https://shop.neoanaloglab.com/mcp`

A public remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP) with no sign-in. It serves 2026-07-28 and 2025-era clients.

## How to connect

- Claude: in Settings › Connectors choose “Add custom connector”, enter the URL above and pick “No sign in”.
- ChatGPT: turn on developer mode and add the URL above as a custom MCP server.
- Other MCP clients: add the URL above as a Streamable HTTP server.

## How buying works

1. The agent calls create_checkout_link and gives the customer the link.
2. The link only opens a confirmation page. Stock is reserved and payment taken when the customer continues to Stripe Checkout.
3. Agents cannot place orders or pay for them.

: Search in English, Japanese or Chinese: tax-included price, stock, key specs, whether it ships abroad

**`get_product`**
: Product details: specs, purchase options, the condition report of a used unit, rating

**`check_availability`**
: Stock for up to 20 products (holds nothing)

**`quote_shipping`**
: Shipping to Japan or abroad, computed exactly like checkout (US includes prepaid duties)

**`get_store_policies`**
: Shipping, returns, payment and seller details

**`search_knowledge`**
: FAQ, AGO guides and ILFORD / KODAK / FUJIFILM datasheets, with sources

**`create_checkout_link`**
: A buy link; reserves nothing and charges nothing

**`get_order_status`**
: Order status by order number and email (no personal details returned)

## Ground rules

- The MCP server allows 120 requests per minute per IP address.
